Healer DPS option thoughts

So through some experience playing pictomancer and getting a feel for it, I can definitely see and say where some things could be outright copied and applied to healers.

For one, the simplified (and optionally) one button rotation for gcd damage casts. For all healers that could very easily become a core staple. The next is that finishing the rotation procs something. For an example with white mage, I think it should proc another gauge slot up to 4 slots that could be held onto for an OGCD burst.

For Astro, I think something similar could be implemented but through the idea of wanting to play your hand in order to proc something that could be a card related OGCD move that deals damage. That might involve reconfiguring draw, but that’s a rough idea.

Sage and scholar same thing. Though, I think sage and white mage should have theirs proc just by doing their core rotation that’s seamless. Meanwhile, Astro and scholar should have a little more finesse in using their kits to proc theirs with potency adjustments to make up for that extra setting up.

It’d be 3 new buttons; 2 GCD and 1 OGCD, but it’d be a start to give healers a little more to do.

I have another opinion about healers,

I believe all healers should have different kits but with the same capabilities (sheild, heal, regen, mitigation) but done differently.

let me give you example:

I would give a Metrix to have the design philosophy,

Is healer Hard casting or Soft casting?
Is healer playstyle is DPS or Support Buffs or Dots?
Is healer Reactive or Proactive?

if count the possibilities that would be 2 x 3 x 2= 12 possible healers that could fit with different kit that have same capability.
