7.0 Graphical Update

Frequency: Persisting
Steps:
1. Open Portrait editor
2. Mess with lighting and character expressions
3. Test close-up shots

The graphics update is a success. In-game and cutscenes are outstanding! However in my opinion, portraits have suffered greatly. Before, they were sharp, you could play with the lighting and character expressions to add personality to your character not otherwise achievable in-game.

Now, the lighting is messy, character’s eyes are dim/lack luster, and it’s as if the light makes human skin appear fuzzy. Character expressions would be emphasized by lighting position and intensity, and while that is still the case, there is a dramatic decrease in quality and portraits almost seem like a downgrade considering the game has added even higher-quality textures, etc. I hope this is something can be resolved and preferably, restored as close to pre-7.0 as possible.

Ah, my mistake. I’ve seen threads in the “acknowledged” section with as little info as mine but I’ll try adding more of the template anyhow.
