Hey guys. Recently returned player here. Is there a spot in Ul'dah on Sargatanas that's better for just parking yourself if you need a random meld and don't have a friend around that can do it....? I feel like most of the areas highest-trafficked by crafters are so packed I'm probably not going to load in in time for them to even see my char. Thanks!
Much to the chagrin of some, you're best bet may be to just shout.
The chances of you loading in time for some random passer-by to see your request is slim.
Actually, there are various NPCs that issue the materials for in-city crafting leves, with different NPCs giving materials for different classes.
See what the gear you want melded requires, and hand by the proper NPC. You are most likely going to see people able of melding your stuff around those areas.
