Allow us to select which tier of skill/spell we want to see from an upgraded one

It'd be nice if we could select which animations we'd like from all the upgrades we've had over the years.

Being able to change, say, Glare III back into Stone III animations would be a pretty fun touch and allow people to choose a little bit of spice, while keeping all upgraded potencies etc

i miss throwing rocks on white mage so much. maybe it's not such a big deal with the other jobs, but i just don't like the loss of the ties to conjury once you get through to the 70s on white mage.

I'd definitely use that.

I kind of lost interest in WHM's aesthetic after it moved so far away from its CNJ roots, so being able to use Stone and Aero again would be very welcome. It feels like I only ever get to see them in leveling roulette.

i like rage of halone on PLD smh, royal authority looks cringe.

Theirs quite a few instances im sure people can think of where swapping skills vfx from upgraded ones would look better.

Still sad we kept Armor Crush's animation on Ninja rather than one of the other ones...

I've wanted ability glamours for years, and I legitimately thought we might see them in Endwalker. Some toggle to use an older animation would give a little bit of customization. Could even be fun if you see like, 4 White Mages in a 24man and they're all using slightly different loadouts.

Hell if they could even unlock new ones and let us just pick those glamours. Complete some achievement related to Warrior, get some new Inner Release animation, or clear content on WHM and bam, new animation for Presence of Mind.

And obviously this would only work in PvE, seeing enemy's abilities and knowing what they can and can't do is a major aspect of PvP.

And I hate to say it but if it gives them incentive, they could even put some on the mog station.
