Astrologian Card Positions

Range DPS, Defense, Heal (Umbral)

Why are the Heal and Defense positions swapped? It's a genuine question, please don't slap it down with a "zomg, that'd be so easy, just pay attention to your Draw, or go back to WHM"

It's because "shields" are being conceptualized as a form of "healing" rather than "defense," while "defensive buffs" include the Arrow's +10% to subsequent healing.
Kind of convoluted, I agree, but is internally consistent with e.g. Neutral Sect's effect on Aspected Benefic (a "healing" skill), & based on that (")logic(") the placements remain damage/defensive buff/'healing' for Play 1-3 in both cases.
Honestly what's throwing me off more conceptually is that the "shield" healing buff belongs to Astral phase while the "regen" one belongs to Umbral (because that's the opposite alignment as the old "sect" stance system)

It's not the only inconsistency, for sure, just the one that will interfere with smooth gameplay.
