Possible explanation for the Return to Home World problem

So, as many knows, a lot of us are stuck in another world server because we didn't returned to our home world before maintenance.

The problem is that it is said that it should give us lower priority on connections but the message and the attempts tell that it is just straight up impossible.

BUT, some people seems to have successfully returned to their Home World, how is that ?

Well, after looking at the posts and the server lists it seems that it's only in the case where their Home World is on the same Data Center that the one they had traveleled to ! (please correct me if I'm wrong)

That may be because of the hard stop Square Enix has put on Data Center Travel overriding the authorisation to Return to Home World

Has anyone successed to return to their Home World from a world on a different Data Center ?

I came to the same conclusion, it also seems that people who traveled to the new DC are able to log in there since its not artificially set to congested. My only hope is that the support ticket I put in will allow for some behind the scenes magic for them to send me home.

Ye, I think that's the case, I just hope they allow us to go back... Queues seem to have stabilized over on Europe, I am getting like 30 people on queue or none at all. But still can't do anything because both my Home World and the World I am visiting on another Data Center is marked as Congested, so...
