Player Tell Chat Function No Longer Sticks?

Everytime I communicate with another player through tells it defaults back to whatever chat function it previously had or was chosen.

Right click character name -> Send Tell -> Press enter

These steps would normally allow us to make chat function stick to that player specifically but it no longer does, at least not for me. I've went through chat functions but there doesn't seem to be an option for it.

Other chat functions seem to work normally asside from this. I'd have to type out the entire character name + home world to make it stick. That's far too cumbersome for conversation.

If anyone has a fix I'd please like to hear it.
