Elden Ring removed the flashbang Bandai Namco, so it makes sense that FFXIV adds one of their own. Balance must be maintained.
It was brought up during the media tour for content creators to ask their viewerbase to leave feedback. I really hope there was enough for that feedback to reach SE, 'cause yeah.. Not lookin' forward to starting DT with a light-induced headache @@
As someone who enjoys low light especially when at home, I really hope they have an option to tone that down, it actually forces me to look away/close my eyes because of how bright it is.
They were concerned about it themselves, so they might adjust it a bit, but I remember it being mentioned that it was actually alright when people got used to it.
But maybe they could add a skip intro setting just for people who don't want to keep seeing it.
