Things you enjoy about healers

having seen the reworks for healers in DT ive never been more excited to pick up the jobs than i am now
What are some of the key things you enjoy about healers? and what's got you excited to play/main them in dawntrail

• its fun
• i can help out my friends
• i enjoy the glamour
• i like the supporting job fantasy
• i feel useful when i can save a wipe

Side note. please do not bring any negative energy to this thread, there are plenty of OTHER threads for you to voice and share those opinions. since many people are afraid to speak how they feel about playing healer, or are new. i want this thread to be a chance for them to have a voice. and please do not engage with anybody causing arguments either. lets keep this a safe space ♥.

Honestly..., just the glamour and faster duty pops. x3

• The only role that allows me to watch Netflix while doing roulettes.
• Easy to learn and master
• relaxing to play

whats some of your favourite glam? mine is the level 90 WHM dress

In any game I play, I flock towards the healers/supportive classes so it's a natural fit for me :)
In some games like Valorant, I played a support so that despite me not being good at the whole fps thing, I was still able to contribute to my team in some way. I guess you can say it makes me feel useful.
Other then that I, like you also really enjoy some of the healers glams, particularly astro and scolar.
Queue times are a nice bonus, I also really enjoyed astro's story quests.

For example one of the Eden glamour. It looks very celestrial. :3

The fact the role is so bad that I can do my roulettes 60% faster because no one who actually enjoys the game wants to suffer through the worst 4 jobs in the game.

Always been a support/heal player in MMOs.
It's rewarding to prevent a wipe, simply put.
Self sustain of other jobs aside, healers have a lot of responsibility. If you can keep up to that, its just a really nice feeling

I do not think healing will be as enjoyable in this upcoming expansion. Seeing healers being phased out to be a ranged support role is very discerning for my favorite role. Its overwhelmingly a negative experience imo. But I guess if that is the design that the team want to take it nothing the player base can do about it as long as we keep paying the subs for it.

I think their freeform playstyle is what I like the most about them - you don't really have the same battle style on every encounter like DPS do.

And I also like being able to act as a backbone to the party as I've played for a long time and especially when things go south during a random ivalice boss haha
