Jobquests. I want more of them!

Jobquests, some like them and some think they are annoying. I for my part really like them. Sure quite a few dont have that great of a story. But it helps in discovering the world getting to know more people and also show you about your job. more than just a few fancy skills and the weapon you wear.
i guess i can say i love the concept of job quests. nowadays we have only a few job quests for the new jobs and for blue mage. the rolequests are nice, but it would be even nicer if we have rolequests AND jobquests.

from a lore perspective you could say we dont need jobquests anymore since we're stronger as our teacher anyway. and they also got a nice finish on lvl 80. but thats not really a reason to just abandon them since they serve as much more

but what were the real problems with jobquests?
the biggest reason is of course having so many jobs to design quests for. its a lot of work and you cant just recycle the same ideas over and over again.
a big limiting factor is also the structure. every job needs the same amount if quest with more or less the same length. thats a big problem in creativity.
but is there really a need for those two points?

I DONT THINK SO.
when we stop learning skills over job quests. (which we already kinda did with the lvl 80 ones) they will just turn into a bit more interesting yellow quests. and everyone can decide by their own if they want to do those quests or not.

why not having a more flexible approach? with nothing to gain from a quest apart from lore there is no reason to have jobquests for every job.
the writers have no idea for a certain quest? no problem, dont make one.
sometimes its just nice to have a single short quest to meet some characters again. how are they doing? nice? great!
then we can have a longer quest or even several quests for jobs if they have ideas for it.
an amdapor white mage quest? i would love it

it would also make the need pointless to have all jobquests in old areas.
to discover even more about reaper in garlemald?
a dancer jobquest in thavnair? how awesome would that be? (actually i would also love meeting that miqote from the lvl 14 ul'dah emote quest who wanted to become a dancing adventurer in a dancer quest again^^)

it would also open up the possibility to do combined jobquests. what about a whitemage / blackmage / redmage quest about the flood, nyunkrepf and his ship?

if we get rid of that stale need to have the same amount of quests for every job it would open up so many possibilities. you could even throw in classes. like lancer but also miner... or even the allied tribes.

PLEASE, make more jobquest.
