Funniest dungeon runs

Thought maybe a light hearted forum post. What is yoru funniest, strange, wacky or even other words that describe yoru dungeon runs. I remember on teh old Praetorium 8 man MSQ, I used ot be a male hyur midlander and one run. I got 7 femael vieras and the conversation went from casual to most out of pocket, hilarious playboy harem joke.

I once ended up in a dungeon with a tank who seemed to be a (nonfunctional) bot. Didn't turn stance on, didn't dodge, didn't respond in chat, didn't react to anything, just walked ahead vacantly. So the ninja became the tank. I don't think we even vote-kicked the bot. It was a while ago, so the memory is vague, but I think we just let it stay while we effectively did a tankless, 3-player run of the Stone Vigil.

That's how I discovered that I prefer unfortunate incidents over proper dungeon runs.

Years ago, sometime in ARR or HW, I was reintroducing a 1.0 friend back into the game after a long absence. We queued for Tam-Tara as tank (me) and DPS (them) and the healer we got was a scholar who immediately told us that this dungeon wasn’t worth our time and that he was going to /follow me AFK and read a book while Eos healed until we got to the last boss.

I was so angry that I tried pulling as much of the dungeon I could at once to die to prove a point, but still used tank stance and cooldowns so I didn’t give him any ammo.

I didn’t die.

I was in a run of Praetorium a couple years ago for moogle tomestones. All of us in the dungeon had reached the stomach turning point of having run the place over and over and over as it was the most efficient way at that time for a lower level character tog et the tomestones.

We all started talking back to the cutscenes and wisecracking through the whole thing. It was hilarious.

Things like "Giaus the pontificating Darth Vader wanna be" etc.

I miss those broken days, lol... Not as easy to pull off now as it was then, but I loved just letting Eos/Selene healbot away while I literally DPS'd the whole time, tossing up an occasional adlo or such to shield when at boss start/ between pulls or the like.
Then again... I also miss the interactions where like some minions, SCH faeries would get together and interact when close enough - watching Eos and Selene literally dance around together or start arguing was hilarious.

I remember being with a very chatty group in Praetorium and just discussing all the attractive male NPCs with the party. I had no idea who half of them were at the time because I hadn't met them yet. They were right, though.

My funniest run of anything has been P7S with our FC's static. Our group screwed up and the only survivors were my co-healer and myself. I went "I believe in you, we can do this" (we could not do this) and he went "NOPE", jumped into the hole in the middle of the arena and Rescued me after him, which on my screen looked like he'd grabbed the edge of my robes and pulled me in. I laughed for a solid two minutes.

I remember same dungeon :D maybe we was in same party. I was playing bard in that time.

back in the old old old days anytime a tank vanished and i got to use titan-egi to lead us through a dungeon, always fun times, that lil guy was a beast, i miss that.

My favourite dungeon event was in Labyrinth fighting Phlegethon. The shield failed to go up for the second Ancient Flare, the explosion went off, twenty-three people died and one warrior clung on by a few HP... then a Wildfire timebomb went off and killed the boss, so we won the fight.

This was a raid, not a dungeon, but in ShB I joined a PF group that did Tower at Paradigm's Breach using 24 healers. Took forever, but we had a blast!
