The recent update with the change of the mob sizes... is... driving me crazy. I mean for little mobs as with those squirrels it's ok. Since they're pretty detailed and stuff.. but a friend and me did a leve with those toads/frogs yesterday.
And that toad had like 3/4 of my screen size. Like a fu*****ing skyscraper.
Please reduce the mob size ;; Unless it's like a huge dragon.. it can stay that big :P But those oversized mobs are really destroying the atmosphere :(
Even the toads are bigger?! That is pretty crazy. Like the ones in Mor dhona? I remember exploring that place and those toads were huge. I'm going to have to start a new journey to see all the monster sizes. Question, are the Goobbues bigger O_o ?
I totoally agree, everything got too big, shrink em down just a bit >.< lol
They should put most of them back to their normal size since we have that new targeting system...
Dodos are huge, but to us Lalafells. . .EVERYTHING is big to us, but now, we can use the Squirrels as mounts! At least I wish ; ;
1.16 has really destroyed my sense of proportion in this game.. Mobs are huge just for the sake of being huge now, you can tell some weren't designed to be as large as they now are.. LS flags are for some reason gigantic, along with the Rank/Level Up animations. Everything is out of proportion and thus just looks silly. These sorts of things will only make it easier for me to leave this game - maybe I should be thankful?
Yes. They need to roll back the mob sizes. Why would they have even spent time on this in the first place? There are bigger fish to fry.
so i have this theory, me and some LS mates were talking about ffxiv coming to the PSP2 since its as powerful as the PS3. increasing the size of the mobs will make it easier to target on a PSP2 small touchscreen. i personally dont mind the increase in size. if someone were to start playing today, they wouldn't have a problem with it cause they never knew how small they were before. i mean look at the doomtoads in ffxi, they were huge too

I find the new mob size to be enjoyable, especially those monsters pertaining to behests and leves. Dodo's do scare me now, the fell peiste's too lol..
