Hi,
I can't enter the game after choosing my character because it's already online on my second PC.
Scenario: My character is online on my 2nd PC at my friends place and they're gone for 2 nights. I can't login through my main PC at my home because of that.
I'd like to know if this is a limitation or something that will never occur in version 2 or maybe get fixed in next patch by the end of this month. Or if there's a security reason for that.

In FFXIV, it doesn't have the "Log in from another terminal kick." A lot of it is a security feature to prevent kick fights, especially in the event your information gets stolen. Your best bet in these situations is to have the auto-disconnect feature enabled where if you idle for 90 minutes, you auto-DC.
Yep, sadly this was a feature people begged SE to remove because it annoyed them in FFXI.
There's not much more traumatic than seeing the "This account has been logged on from another terminal" while NM hunting, and trying to log back in only to see your password changed.
Agree i like the fact that someone else can't log in to my account if i'm log in.
