Planeting in areas

Would like to see an option where we can planet seeds/fruit/plants in a field area and slowly see the tree or whatever planet grow in few days or few hours?

Can trade in many things in the ground at once and cross breed them. Some plants cant only grow in some areas.

Can go more advanced to say Monsters effect your plant life. Some monsters are drawn to some plants and will eat them if there nearby.

Sounds really cool. Anything that opens up the breadth of the world is good in my books. But it might be good for the planting to have a purpose/function.

Could be an alternative source of veggies and fruits for culinarians. The one thing I appreciate about stuff like gardening and planting stuff is that it adds life to the game without being a detriment to other players. Well, unless the devs make the mistake of adding some super rare but super good fruit or something.
