I was hoping we'd lean more towards the fairy theme, not dull church-looking angels. I'm disappointed.

Yeah what we got gives me more WHM vibes than the Fairy-based aesthetic that SCH is meant to have. I don't quite understand the design choice here.

They straight up used generic assets and thought you wouldn't notice lol.

Exactly. It screams pre existing.

I definitely don't have anything up my sleeve to defend the dev's decision making on this one. I would have preferred a faerie-themed transformation as well. Even more so considering that the Titania arc in ShB leaves the WoL as the rightful ruler over the pixies and Feo Ul is just a place holder. While this isn't specific to the SCH job, it still kind of feels like it is.

I'm sure they have their reasoning why they went with an angelic transformation. I would even go as far to say that a faerie-theme didn't even enter their minds. I could even see Yoshi's response to the criticism being along the lines of, "Hmm, yeah... that does make a lot of sense. haha!"

From Cleric Stance to angel cosplay stance... I miss HW SCH

I looked away from the stream one second, saw the wings, and thought "oh hey, you can use the accessories in combat now!" I didn't even realize that was a "holy enshroud" form till much later.
