Reintroduce Maat in 2.0

Anyone else think Maat should make a comeback for 2.0?
Leveling is too easy in this game, and we need to stop the casuals from facerolling their way to lv50.
A Maat type fight would be a perfect road block for this game and it would teach you how to play your class.

Good idea/bad idea?

It's a good idea. Of course people who never touched XI will say it's a bad idea because it's referencing XI, even though Yoshida already said he's not against bringing in concept from past FF games. Not even the final AF fight was worthwhile since it was a slight challenge but it was nothing that challenged you as a player much like Maat has with the 70 cap or even Raubahn did for BLUs.

So many BLUs rage quit that month. Yoshida is making leveling easier (quest chaining) so maybe he'll be smart enough and make the final round hard challenges.

At least have a maat reference, i mean there is a shanttototototototototoooooooooootototot reference.

Yep, I mean FFXIV is FFIII so it's perfectly ok to have a Crystal Tower. FFXIV is also FFVI so it's perfectly ok to add in exact replicas of Magitek they utilized. FFXIV is also FFVI that it's perfectly ok to have Typhoon floating around with no doubt Ultros soon to follow. FFXIV is also FFVII that we not only got Materia but we're also getting the Golden Saucer.

...Oh FFXIV isn't those games either o.O
