As I was leveling my NIN and have just unlocked the ninki gauge... I just had a passing thought.
If a job gains gauge passively then some ability requires x amounts of gauge to be usable, then isn't that the same battle system with 1.0?

Closest thing to this is SGE's Addersgall gauge where each oGCD costs 33.33% ATB.
