Server Re-opening

When will Mateus re-open?

I started there 5 yrs ago, and left about a yr ago. If I had known it'd be nigh impossible to come home, I'd not left! Most of my longtime friends are there, and now my IC bf-whom I cannot marry ingame yet. He just won a house on mateus-which is very lucky for him. Rumor says it may open around Dawntrail release, but some are saying no. Any indication of when? So I can transfer my main home? I am on Brynhildur now, biding my time.

Perhaps Square needs to release a "rp server" on Dynamis, to relieve some of the population on Crystal. I've been there (seraph,maduin) community is awesome, rp is beginning to grow, but it needs more encouragement. Housing is a definite plus.(low population, so they haven't opened the last 5 wards yet)

Square doesn't decide which servers or data centers are for RP or raiding or PvP or what-have-you. That's completely on players repeating the same "declaration" over and over again (whether or not it has any merit).

Well perhaps square needs to designate certain servers as RP, then maybe it would encourage people to join those servers, because there seems to be a schism between rpers and non-rpers, who choose to troll rpers. Which causes alot of unnecessary drama. I have seen examples of this in my years playing the game, and I think its rather childish.

Servers open now, I just transfered over. :)
