SEA players and resident of US/EU, how are you paying subs right now after the change

Hello fellow players,

For those who have not heard there are recent changes in payment system by SE.

For players whose regions are not supported, back in the day you can put a US address and still be able to use your debit/credit card, buy crystal or time card.

With the recent change, there is no option given to change your current country and if your not in the accepted regions you are not able to use your credit/debit card. It seems buying Crysta also gives you an error i2501 while some people also cannot use Paypal and for some even timecards (yes it seems it still ask for address). Any work around for this or anyone have ever tried to make a payment.

Otherwise it is such a shame that loyal paying customers cannot even play anymore. Is it goodbye Dawntrail and FF14? :confused::confused:

I was hoping as well, but some players tried it and it asked for address verification, which is weird. This also means mogstation and other services is no longer possible.

Here is the extra costs from using "Gamecard":
- On top of high currency exchange rate, you're forced to sub on Standard most people don't need.
- I just want to sub for a month.
- Retailers took extra cut + purchasing/processing fee.
- You won't get the 12 Euro discount for subbing 6 months with gamecard.

Problem solved when SQEX fix and improve their crap.

I buy Paysafe cards at my local grocery store and use them to buy Crysta.

They aren't scrapping Crysta, are they?

Crysta usage is very restricted, my region is Australia and adding Crysta always gave me Error 11000. They don't tell you what's that error is but reddit mention that it was region blocker.

Im told paypal still work around the whole credit card/regional address thing, so no worries. (Athough if you have to use any currency conversion with paypal look into it, they like to add hidden fees.)

Players from the philippines are now unable to use CC, Paypal or Time cards . I guess square wants to kick us out.
