[Graphics Update] Did you notice they removed Viera subrace specific features?
Today I noticed something i'm not sure if many have. I wasn't aware until recently that the differences between the Viera subraces aren't only the skin colors of which you can choose from but also the sizes of the pupils. In the benchmark this difference has been entirely removed however and it answered my question of why the feeling of my character was a bit off.
Veena have bigger pupils and it's very noticeable on females. It gave them a hint of cuteness with the button eyes, but in the benchmark it seems to have been unified between both subraces.

A change that i'm also a bit sad about is that the eyes before had a bit of an outline and didn't blend into the sclera that much.
Thoughts:
What i would wish for is not for details like this to change again, but to let us have options to chose between both or multiple. With the changes there will be a lot of people unhappy with new changes, but i'm sure if they change it back people who liked those changes will speak up and it creates the same discussions as now. The character creator has been limited and outdated for so long and i think at this point it would make a wide amount of players happier if they could adjust little details like lip shape and shine with different sliders instead of being at the mercy of what the creators chose.
I don't know if this has been vaguely translated, but Yoshi-P once talked about parameters when mentioning the eyes of the Au Ra in the tokyo fan fest. He said that we could play around with it if we liked the previous dead look of the Au Ra. I was honestly expecting that the character creation process would get an entire overhaul based on that, since i didnt see any options that could achieve anything of that sort and there still doesnt appear to be. But it simply might not be implemented in the benchmark. I believe he also said that during the future patches the character creaton will receive some updates as well, but that could not mean much. Although Yoshi-P said himself to keep our expectations high, so maybe its reasonable to believe.
All in all, what i wish for for the character creator are more options, old and new and preferably sliders that let us adjust the shape of details ourselves. Make facial features that logically shouldnt be locked behind subrace/face type (Moles, Freckles, Make up) available for everyone and maybe let us chose more than one face paint option. My absolute favourite addition would be to implement more face types, though i think it offers itself better for later expansions since no more races are planned anymore.
