Character Creator Idea

I know it is beating a dead horse, this will be the last post from me on this subject.
Alot of players want more options in the character creator from female options to male options and have for awhile but no one at square is acknowledging. I myself would be willing to pay an extra $5-$10 a month and im sure alot of people would too to have extra character models and options. Keep the legacy creator and meshes by all means but maybe also have a premium pass to extra options to fund the workers to make it happen while making profit for company? seems no brainer. Im excited about the 2 dye system and hopefully previously undyeable gear will be dyeable to some extent now with that, and everything else that has been previewed with the graphical update. If you want to see more of raging storm from the community compared to what is going on with the benchmark now this would be a fantastic way to make that happen. The game is already a paid, sub based MMO with micro/macro-transactions, and paid expansions. If they are going to be updating/adding new character creation options the cost is (or at least should be) already covered by the current transaction models the game has put forward.

I think the "no-brainer" would be seeing raising the price up to 67% just for some extra options in the character creator as a ridiculous idea. Adding options gradually would be a natural part of the sub.

Yeah but I don't think they are looking at changing anything. We will be in 2030 with same stuff

I think they've mentioned wanting to update the character creator sometime in the recent past, though I doubt this will happen any time soon. It be a good feature for 8.0 honestly.

Now that we are done adding new races, and got a graphic update.. next should be adding more customization options to existing races. No extra fees required.

you know gaming is in one hell of a state when you have forum posts asking to be further monetized for basic feature improvement requests in a live-service game that you already pay box and subscription fees for

People been talking about these changed since stormblood. Square acts like the way they coded the game it takes an act of God for something like this to happen. Money is the only language companies care about. Everything in the world just about is monetized. It sucks and I don't like it but I chose to be monetized by this game and spend my free time here. Go cry to your cable company/Netflix/Amazon etc about being monetized

Other things being worse is not an excuse to drag this one down to that level too...

Being unpleasant about it is not gonna make people see your side, and it kinda feels like your being defensive. People are rightfully not happy at the idea of having to pay MORE for something we should get for the sub we're already paying paying. (not to mention paying for retainers and the companion app) Adding paid premium content is an entire slippery slope too. People who can't afford it will start hating the people that can. It's just not a good idea at all.
