Graphical Update Feedback: Male Midlander Face 5

I feel like the benchmark aged my face 5 male midlander 20 years. I get what they're going for adding the extra grooves and lines to the face to make it more realistic, as even young people have them, but these look too dark and defined. Also they nerfed his big scar! My character just looks completely different now and I just really really hate the change. Actually so mad right now. Does anyone else with this face have a similar complaint? I hope they adjust this face because it looks totally different from before. (first photo is current, second is benchmark)

chiming in to say that I felt like it did age my guy as well! (I immediately said 'oh, that works I guess' because I pretend msq takes a decade, but I definitely can see how it would throw others off and ruin the perceived age of a character!) I have side by side images in the CC, but tbh it felt a little more apparent to me in the actual trailer.

It does look older, but I think lightening the skin tone a little bit can help. It might just be the lighting of the benchmark / character creator, because I think it's making the skin tone look a little darker.

Yeah I thought about this being just him aging over the course of time but he also just...doesn't look good. It doesn't fit how I envision him aging. I'm glad I'm not the only one at least!

I definitely think lightening his skintone a bit might help. It might also help to see him outside of the character creator, bc that lighting has only one source (Squeenix pls fix!!) but the benchmark itself has more dynamic lighting fitting what you'll actually see in game. But yeah, he does look a bit unfortunately aged

I also have this face and would like to respectfully agree that the area beside the nose looks aged and would be very happy if it didn’t have those shadow lines beside the nose.

Even when running my character through the benchmark, these shadow lines beside the nose are noticeable and subjectively not what I’d prefer. If this was able to be adjusted so they are gone, I would be very grateful!

mine feels weirdly older too:( the shape of his eyes and his jaw also feel very different, and most noticeably the hair (which is the darkest/furthest to the right brown) is noticeably lighter with the beard being even more light
