Dawntrail Benchmark Eye Shape and Color Concerns + Pupil Size Option

I booted up the Dawntrail benchmark, and was almost immediately surprised and shocked to see how much of a change was made to the Face 3 highlander eye shape and eye color, as well as the pupil size.

Here are the examples I've gotten. The first is how she looks in the game as it stands, and the second is from the benchmark.

The loss of gloss on the lips is not that big of a deal to me personally, but the biggest changes are the eye shape and the color of the eyes. In the example of the current version of the game, the pupils are smaller, yes, but the eye color itself is far more vibrant and colorful than the benchmark example. Part of this is probably because of the smaller pupil size, but I don't think we can deny that the eye color itself has been dulled.

For the eye change, I have always appreciated the way that highlander can look older, as in 30+. As I wanted my character to have an older air to her, choosing these options was the best, as the sharp eyes helped to give the impression of age. But now, in the benchmark, it gives off the impression of a younger woman. A younger woman with the light taken out of her eyes. The less vibrant eye color is also a step back, for it was quite the unique look!

As we can get a closer look, the color is not nearly as vibrant! According to both the benchmark and the current patch, these are the same color, but we can clearly see that they aren't. I chose this color for how bright and expressive it was, so it has been difficult to deal with how dulled it is. We're playing a fantasy game, and I think bright, vibrant eye colors help with that immersion!

As for the eye shape, the eyes are a fair amount less defined and less sharp. This is Eye Shape 6. I can understand the change of updating graphics, but I believe that we can still achieve that sharp eye look with out having to "round" it out.

So to conclude, I suggest, and would be wonderful to see, is different pupil size options between Small and Large, like how the iris size is currently. And to also either bring back the vibrancy of the eye colors. This can be done by either reverting the change, or offering two color palettes of dark and light, much like the face paint.

I feel like so much of this can be avoided if they just give us the textures for the old eyes at the very least. Just give us the choice especially after seeing how many people are just incredibly unhappy with how the new versions look.
