The End of Stalking, Blacklist & Lodestone

The new Blacklist update is exactly what I had wished for (for 7.0), it completely ends Stalking both from within the game and out.

Being account wide is exactly what we've been needing, the fact it will hide the name, character model and even chat from a blacklisted player, even in a duty (won't hide the model, but you won't see the name or the players chat if you don't want to).
It is as good as Deleting a blacklisted player from the game!

Can't wait to hide my profile and remove my character from the lodestone search.

Not to mention being able to block access to your Estate so blacklisted players can no longer enter the yard and the house itself!

Skip to 1:35:40 in the video for the Blacklist updates, Lodestone update and Term Filter and Mute feature, House expulsion etc.

I know one person on here who will be devestated at the ability to remove them from houses, this was the one thing they didn't want because they believe they have a right to enter venues.


But for everyone else, it's a positive, and on top of that, the term list will let everyone filter out spam, and especially those venue ads.

Hmm... I do not thinking people really need this, because you did nothing wrong means there is no stalking at all. Avoid talking to strangers :o

Probably the best thing out of the entire thing. On the downside, catching cheaters will be made much more difficult (looking at you Bill, the achievement hunter). However stopping the stalking and harassment entirely is gonna outweigh that in the long run.

I am excited to never see a godforsaken club shout ad ever again.

the filter list is gonna be great for filtering obnoxious people and politics from chat, the blacklist thing won't affect me much but i know folks who get stalked will appreciate this alot

Unlikely, based on how it works it will still capture even if your lodestone profile even if its private.
