MGP minigame for Companion App?

What are your thoughts on having an MGP minigame in the Companion App? I personally think that'd be awesome, even if it was for a small amount of MGP.

Honestly, you just reminded me that I've been paying the $5 for premium for that app since it launched.

I got premium for the retainer. But yeah, absolutely anything to make that app relevant would be great.

We should be able to resend our retainers from the app, or be able to chat in linkshells we have live with the game servers from the app and the limit on MB purchases is so low.

I honestly have no clue why they made this app even though I pay for it.

100% has been a waste and I've tried to log in and get engaged a few times but it's just... a means to a retainer and a teleport discount now.

To the point of OP yeah, a minigame that earns in game currency would be fun.

I enjoy the app personally, but it's very much "check this thing out real quick", then it's turn it off. I think, as an MGP minigame, which is somewhat a grindy experience, would definitely be a highlight on the Companion app.

Isn't this what people would call "Pay 2 Win"?
I know one don't actually win anything from it, but people could play and earn an ingame currency that is used to obtain items.
Sure, there are minigames in the golden saucer already.
But for that one would have to be playing the game.
And not everyone has the app or want the app, so only those who pay for it would be able to gain said credit outside of the game.

It's harmless, but maybe too close to "pay 2 win" for the liking of many.

They could do one you can play for fun, but adding other rewards 2 it might be alot much

Honestly, I'm really glad that they updated the the Companion App with retainer ventures and boosted exp from lower gathering ventures.

If they had added an MGP feature as a free to play and no costs to it, then I think it wouldn't be and I would support this idea.

If you had to get the "premium version" for access to this kind of feature, then 100% I agree with you and wouldn't support it.

I think that would be my only personal issue with it though, otherwise I would really like it.
