Error i2501

Last Thursday when I tried to enter a game time code, I got an error i2501 so I contacted support.
I attempted the troubleshooting they suggested and after seeing it wasn't working, I was told to wait 24 hours and that the error would time out by then but, if it didn't, I should contact support again.
Since the error kept happening after 24 hours, I contacted support again on Friday, and was told the issue was to be escalated.
Is now Wednesday and I've been told by support that the case's review doesn't even have an ETA.
How is it possible that for what it's supposedly an error that will time out on its own, not only it's still happening but also, it hasn't been reviewed?
The support agents have been trying all they can and have been a delight, but this is beyond absurd.

Seems all payment methods for any kind of purchase are broken. They claim it's only NA debit cards, but I can't get any payment type to work, be it Paypal, Amazon Pay, or credit cards. They all end up in error i2501.

Same issue. I'm pretty sure they're very aware.

This is happening to me as well. I tried to do a homeworld transfer, apparently I fell into the same trap as so many where they automatically reject U.S. Debit cards, other forms of payment were locked out and here I am with an i2501 error blocking ALL transactions now. Can't use paypal, can't use amazon, can't use other cards, can't add crysta... nothing. Are they aware? Probably. Do they care enough to do anything anything about it with how long this type of problem has been occurring? Apparently not. I guess I'll try again in 24 hours, and hope something happens.

I'm having the same issue, it's happening to Crysta and Steam Wallet, I literally cannot resub....if they really make me lose access to the account that I poured thousands of hours and money into I'll be so pissed....

4/18/2025 and the issue is back again. Azeyma's outfit was too popular and crashed their shop, I guess.
