My problem fixed itself, I tried restarting Steam after a few hours and it was there.


No need to keep it as a big headline, however others that may encounter troubles can at least read some of the things down here that is actually usefull, if am confused about it.

Pre-orders just went live a little less than 2 hours ago. I wouldn't expect a statement on the matter this quickly. Like you already touched on, the delay in getting keys is likely attached to congestion issues with people rushing to pre-order. My best advice is to give it a day or two tops [if it doesn't arrive sooner] and if you haven't gotten your keys by then to contact customer support.

Your retailer will e-mail them to you. For me it was instant, but it depends on the retailer.

The pre-order code will grant the pre-order items if entered, but it can take a day or so to appear in the game's mail box if it's very congested. For me it was instant as well.

The collector's items won't be available until the game actually releases on the 2nd of July since they aren't a part of the pre-order, but rather the game code itself which you enter separately on the 2nd of July.

Saw something on the bird app that they're contacting Valve about the delay in getting keys.

Don't worry I'm also waiting on mine. Plus, this isn't my first time. If this is anything like Shadowbringers it will be quite a few hours. If this is anything like Endwalker... It will be some time tomorrow.

Just got mine, and so have a lot of people, try checking now.
