Banner on the lodestone main page

Has anyone actually seen this in-game? Where is that content? Being able to walk and see an awesome water fall like that exploring would be awesome. Where is all the uniqueness of this game... Things are just so bland.

I guess one could only hope.

13 looked amazing... just saying.

I believe that image shows you how "Mor'Dhona" looked like before that huge
ship in the intro-CS crashed into the lake.

This might be Ala Mihgo. There's still 4 or 5 locked regions at world map, being at least 2 of them (Ala Mihgo being in one of them) forest areas.

XIII was also not an MMO, the areas were fairly small and they didn't have to worry too much about rendering or network lag. It was also on a console so they didn't have to account for a range of system specs. We also don't have access to all the areas. As Lienn said there's quite a few locked regions on the world map, one of them being the Volcano in La Noscea and the entire north half of that island.

Oh I know, I am very excited to see those other regions. Just stating initially I thought they were going to use 13 as like a base of things. I know there is a ton of graphics that would need to change, but I never recall seeing the same thing over again. Non the less I am satisfied with 14 thus far, ovb there are those issues however, it seems SE is trying very hard to change things around - which means a lot to me.
