Think I missed something... don't recall hearing anything in regards to our island sanctuary. Is it being deleted (grrrr), is there going to be new content... at launch of DT or afterwards in the dot releases?

I think it was mentioned in the last Fanfest, but I think they're essentially going to give it a small lookover at DT (Very likely it won't add anything new to it) and then drop it.
Dawntrail is apparently going to have it's own Lifestyle content instead. -

I don't personally expect anything to happen with it. I think it's done with. It will remain there, exactly as it is now, forever.
They could add something to it, I just doubt it. They usually stop updating content like this at the next expansion, like they did with: Eureka, Bozja, Zadnor and The Firmament. -

in a recent interview yoshida said people asked for it so there will be updates for the island in DT.
that itself doesnt mean a lot though. it could just be an additional minion or a short quest. -
