Crossbar Issues
I just logged in today and my controller Crossbar settings are all wonky now. I can use the crossbar but buttons on the controller do not work as intended even after resetting them. I am using a brand new (as of yesterday before the patch hilariously) Xbox X controller. Y and B buttons are jumping...instead of Y jumping and B cancelling. A does not confirm it tries to activate chat...and when I move using the Left Stick...it pans the camera UP and moves me forward while the right stick instead of moving the camera...moves the camera AND the mouse?!
Like what the heck...I tried fixing this for a half hour and nothing has seemed to work. Anyone have ideas...besides not using the controller?

Does the controler have different settings? Like different configs? On my old (non xbox) Controller i had to make sure it was on it's second mode.

From what you've said here, my best guess is that your new controller is faulty. To verify whether this is the case, I'd recommend both of the following:
1. Test every button of your controller on other games to see if they do what they're supposed to.
2. Connect your controller to your PC and open the device manager, which will provide you with a visualization of your controller's inputs. The process to open this will vary depending on your computer setup, but it should be easy to do a search for.
Alternatively, the most recent patch did start the Xbox beta, so it might be possible that there's some code in there that is recognizing your Xbox controller and trying to treat it like you're playing on Xbox rather than PC? It's not impossible, but it seems much less likely than the controller just being faulty.

Yeah...other games I use a controller on work fine like Palworld. Everything working as intended. So the controller is working fine according to Steam as well.

Could it also have something to do with the newest update? Can you remap buttons? Do you play via Steam?

I just found the fix via a semi active RP discord community. Told me to check Steam's controller options. What does that have to do with anything...I shut off support for every option...until I hit "Playstation Controller Support". Immediately it started working once I selected "Not Enabled".
So hopefully this helps someone else. I shut down steam and it worked so just had to find settings until it worked.
