Shared Hud Templates

Why is it I cannot use a HUD template of one of my other toons that I like that would work across all jobs except for a slight variation which would be easier to work around rather than having to customize each and every new toon I create as an alt .. I want to be able to share a HUD across the board

cant you just copy the uisave file from documents to the new char folder
