Relm Arrowny Job (aka Pictomancer)

Well people were expecting Green Mage. Instead we got something I think is better being that they introduce the Relm Arrowny Job which will be called Pictomancer in FF14. If this keeps up, most new jobs in future expansion during this new storyline era may focus on being based around FF characters instead of being Base class/Jobs.

It will be a Mage DPS Job

I am happy, wanted it to be Picto and I think it looks cool. :)

It looks way to cartoony and out of place. I like the idea but so far the execution leaves something to be desired

Probably how the Relm job is rarely used in FF games and intentionally made to be a bit on the cartoony side with Relm as a character. You'll get use to it eventually like most players who play FFVI did.

You realize I played VI/III when it came out, right? Realm wasn't cartoony, she just drew the monsters you were fighting if she could.

...and sometimes she glitched your game to kingdom come and you either got a lot of cool stuff or you got to reset.

I was referring more to their design choice when they started to move Relm outside of her 2D design and into 3D design era. I don't know if you played Opera Omnia but they had her character a bit more high spirited animation wise when performing her attacks. She still did her things in her 2D design era but more animated to emphasis her spirit when it comes to painting attacks. The only thing missing with the animation attacks is a clean Canvas infront of the Pictomancer but it seems they are focusing on the ideal their magic works by painting whatever they make in the air.

A job I won't ever use. I didn't care for Relm or her class.

effects are so cartoony compared to every other job. not really feeling it personally. went from "seems neat" to "hm." real fast when seeing the cg and the job ability trailer.
