Hello fellow Eorzeans!
How would you rate from 1 (bad) to 10 (good) all parts that you actually had a chance to read?
I am thinking about starting with them so i am just curious.
Thank you!
Cheers

I have both volumes 1 and 2 and i think there good. I'd say a 6 out of 10 I'm awaiting volume 3. so my suggestion if you lore buff give them a go
I got 3 last week and I love it
I have both volumes 1 and 2 and I'm eagerly awaiting volume 3. The lore content is really nice. I like learning more about the game world and its history.
I have 1, 2 and just got 3. they are well made and attractive additions to my bookshelf and have a lot of illustrations and information.
overall, I would say 9.5/10 for what I was expecting. completely worth the investment
I love hardback reference books so they were a must-buy for me, They do stand out from the rest of my collection though :p
I LOVE the artwork, lore tibits, and info on classes, jobs, weapons, places, peoples, and Bosses/Hunts/Etc. its a great thing to have and shows a lot more info or in depth lore that one might not find out on their own!
I love em but I wished EE3 went into more detail about the First rather than separate the Shb stuff with base Endwalker. What we got was definitely some meat but compared to the rich history we got for basic Eorzea (which its fair since most of the original game has already developed lore for it) we didnt get to learn much about the histories and cultures of Norvrandt and the lands beyond prior to the Flood of Light.
And yes I realize the meta joke that the encyclopedias are second hand account from the Scions so of course they wouldnt have all the information
Haven't found 3 yet. My only complaint about the first two is that things that happened between volumes aren't covered much. The first volume was printed before the end of the Heavensward patches, so there's not much on Zurvan or Alexander.
I just got the first two volumes for Christmas and I would rate them seven out of ten, overall. My only minor complaint is that I mentally compared them to D&D books due to the apparent similarity in design and price, but EE has matte pages. Not a big deal, I'm still very happy with them, but for the price that I know they sell for I was expecting the same semi-gloss paper quality.
