I got an email early this morning saying the house will be demolished but I was just in it last week I went on to stop the timer and to make it go away but it is still there. would someone be able to help please.

You should interact with something in the house.
I have tried that but the timer is still there.

Are you sure you were entering your FC?
The emails are sent with a delay. If you refresh the timer you might still get an email. It's best to follow the timer in game (Ctrl + U) or mark it in a calendar, if you do not visit the house routinely.
