Please allow console players to transfer Character Settings between characters

Title says it all. I can't do the Cloud Test on console without fully remaking my HUD, a process likely to take well over an hour with nothing but my memory or screenshots to go by.

PC players can already do this by just copying files between the different character folders. Why can't it be that easy for Console players too?

Currently the only way to do so on console *requires* a PC copy of the game too, and a convoluted process involving backing up the console character's HUD, downloading it on PC, copying the files to the other character on PC, uploading that HUD, then downloading it on console from the second character's screen.

This process is unusable for Cloud DC characters, as no character settings can be backed up, thus meaning even this insanely overengineered workaround is useless.

The dev team has added many QoL features over the past year, some being inspired by third-party tools in order to reduce player reliance on them. This feature would be another welcome addition to the table.

Take this with a grain of salt, as I'm not sure if what I'm talking about will help you in this specific situation. In the menus where you are choosing your data center and characters, there are options to upload/download your settings for characters, as well as an option (in the upper-right, I believe?) to upload/download your general settings. When I moved from PS4 to PS5, I was able to use these features to get my local settings onto my new platform. I can't tell if that's something that would help you here, but wanted to mention it just in case it could.

What you're talking about isn't between different characters, only for a single one across multiple platforms. It's the method I used when talking about the process of backing up the first character on Console, downloading that on PC, swapping the files, uploading those files to the second character on PC, then downloading on the second character on Console.

That feature is what I'm requesting to be expanded, so that console players can transfer their HUD data between different characters without needing to buy a second copy of the game on an entirely different system.

I just ran into an issue with this myself since I got a PS5 and the PS5 version of the game recently.

I DID upload all of my characters settings in advance from the PS4, then I downloaded those settings on the PS5 version of the game... but since the resolutions are different my HuD was borked anyways and still required adjustments... for each individual character. Incredibly time intensive process, so I would also appreciate if there was an in-game feature that was just like... "oh you like your character settings from this character and want to use them on an alt?" copy -> paste, done!

Even though i've already done the adjustments, it could still be useful to me in the future if I decide I want to change something on my layout... I would no longer have to manually adjust it myself on all characters.
