Ultima Thule BGM
I know this is late and probably just yelling into the void.
But please revert the Ultima Thule BGM back to the original version after doing the MSQ.
Close in the Distance was (keyword) a great song when played at the proper height of the MSQ, but it being played non-stop as the BGM for the entire zone is absurd.
Echoes in the Distance is much more fitting for the zone overall and is a great version of the song and there isn't even an orchestration roll of it.
Also please add an orchestration roll of Echoes in the Distance.

It was odd to remain but I don't have a problem with it either. It's a good song.
-
Yes please! I love how broken down and sad and atmospheric the Echoes version is
-
I only just finished 6.0, and, agreed. EW has been pretty chill overall for music, but that zone is enough for me to go back to playing with bgm off.
Further disappointing to hear the good song isn't even an Orchestrion.

While I like the song, and still like it, I wonder if it would not have greater effect if not at least mixed with the other variants? Could introduce a 'hopeful' 'wistful' etc type unique weathers as well to have it play, to give a sort of audio and visual playback to it. Perhaps the beast tribe variant breaking into the mix, with it's own weathers too (once you've gone far enough in those quests).
This space is supposed to be dynamic and emotional after all.
I wouldn't be mad if it was brought back down, but I think I would prefer if it was cycled or stayed. I think if it cycled, especially if somehow it was done thoughtfully, would be even more interesting. Though I respect others have a different opinion, not just saying 'no' and running away lol. Just explaining my own thoughts :)

I'm not sure why they didn't just make it the nighttime theme there.
-
SE team, please add reverb to the current BG to spite people who complain.
Also what in the heck are you guys doing over there so much? Theres nothing to do after you finish the tribal and the FATE boss mount.
Yet another part of my sea of complaints of this game having dead zones with no real character progression activities
-
Could have been cool if the different parts of the map would play the different parts of the song like in the MSQ.
-
Making it the night time theme makes great sense yeah. It’s a great track and I certainly miss it when I’m there, even gone so far as to listen to it on YouTube on occasion+++

Please do not "fix" this. We permanently brought life back to the edge of the universe and the song reflects that monumental change. It would be absurd to revert the song to its incomplete version - and yes, that's exactly what it is. The chilling reverb is symbolic of the dead and forgotten wasteland of Ultima Thule while the finished song represents the everlasting resurrection of the zone through the dynamis of the scions. Asking for this to be fixed is like asking for the Doman Enclave to visually revert to its original pre-developed state because you personally preferred the rundown houses for some reason. It is OK for our actions to have permanent, visible and in this case audible reflections on the game's environments.
