Unable to log in with specific character

Steps:
1. Every time I attempt to log in with this character, I get an error message "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV. (16a)" and the game closes. Another character on the same world server works fine. I contacted customer support but they were unable to help. They directed me to submit a bug report here.

2. Background: I originally played this game on PS5. I stopped playing around the time the Endwalker expansion came out. I haven't logged into the character since. I recently purchased a new PC and am trying to play the game again with my main character, but keep getting the error message. I own the steam version of the game and the Endwalker expansion.


Things I've done to try and fix the issue.

3. Reset System Settings
4. Restored Game Data
5. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it
6. Uninstalled the game, deleted the folder on my C drive and reinstalled
7. Power cycled my network
8. Attempted to temporarily login with my character to another world server
9. Logged in with another character on the same server (was able to sucessfully)

And immediately after writing this I had the thought to delete the folder in my User->Documents folder and that fixed it. I would delete this post but not sure how.
