If someone signs an entry into a message book and then they delete their character or change data centers, will the entry remain?

If someone signs an entry into a message book and then they delete their character or change data centers, will the entry remain?
If they transfer DCs it stays. I have a few messages in mine still from people that have transferred.
I'm not sure what happens if they delete their character though.
