Somehow Advanced CC Tactics That Should Be Basic
Alright. It's been 8 seasons. I'm tired of seeing the same mistakes made over and over again by the same people. Here's a quick, condensed list of fundamental tactics that have somehow managed to continue evading the vast majority of the CC playerbase.
- The game isn't won by maximizing crystal uptime. You gain nothing by killing yourself just to stand on the crystal a bit longer.
- One step back for two steps forward. Not every skirmish needs to be fought down to the man. If you lose a couple people, there's literally no reason to then commit to a 3v5.
- Hand in hand with the last point, if you're going to die, die all at once, all together.
- If you're a straggling survivor, your life isn't worth a tiny bit of inconsequential poke damage.
- If it's about to be OT, your team is winning, and the crystal is on your side of the map, ON'T DELIVER IT TO THE ENEMY.
- If it's a 50/50 OT, you don't have to throw bodies onto the crystal. Understand the OT rules and what's required of each side in each situation.
Anyway. Please stop throwing bodies onto the crystal for no reason, I still see this behavior in Top 100 and it's ridiculous. Let's all play better and enjoy a higher overall level of competition.
