Need clarifications of Eurika and other contents before moving to ShB

Hi All,

I am planning of buying the Endwalker bundle since there is a nice offer on it currently, and I am almost done with SB. But there are couple of things I don't really grasp as every article about it, is either outdated, or does a poor job of explaining it.

I have done everything in SB expansion from MSQ and sides, and been leveling everyone to 70 and I'm halfway done.

Currently I am doing tribes (at level 7 currently), collecting TT cards, doing Savage raids with groups and some scattered activities like weekly custom deliveries and getting riding maps.

There are some contents I don't grasp if they are necessary or outdated or worth it, and I hope you can clarify them for me so I can do proper research on the ones that matters

- Ishgard Firmament Skybuilding ? I noticed the board with projects in it, some NPC has a QR code?? and another gives me stamps. in general what are those and whats the benefit from them as I honestly feel lost here.

- Eurika Island: I was told that it is grindy and takes too much time. but what are they for? from my basic understanding that they are substitute to Anima weapons from ARR and HW. but do they improve the weapon ? or do we get a new weapon altogether? is it upgradable to 90? or will I get another one later?

- Deep dungeons : do they offer something valuable ? or just leveling and glam? do I need to do them ?

I think those three are the major things I need clarity on, the rest are basically getting DoL/DoH scrips and recipes then I think im good to go for ShB!

None of those are necessary for you to do.
Some other quests hidden behind the Firmament Skybuilding. Some clothing and such to be gained, but nothing you need.
Eureka is for your level 80(?) relic gear. Possibly some other rewards as well (clothing, minions, and the like). Weapon can be used for glamour, but isn't worth the bother otherwise.
Deep Dungeons are mainly for leveling and can be an alternative way of getting gear (at least some of them). Also glam and achievements.
All of them also add a bit of story and worldbuilding, and can be fun to do because of that. But not at all necessary.

Any gear you got from those is pretty much outdated now - easier to just buy tomestone gear of the right level with Poetics.

My advice is to do any of those that you think might be fun, and skip the rest.

Eureka is for your level 70 relic weapons and glowing armors, and is part of the Stormblood expansion.
The Firmament is a great way to level your crafters quickly, but unnecessary if you're not crafting or doing that another way.
Each deep dungeon (Palace of the Dead, Heaven-on-High, Eureka Orthos in Endwalker) has a unique mount you can obtain only there, and some glam items.

Bozja and Zadnor are for the level 80 resistance weapons, and are part of the Shadowbringers expansion. (just adding this since the previous post mentioned lvl 80 relic weapons)

Eureka does not take "too much time". Granted it's subjectiive but getting the relic isn't that hard.

To quickly put this out front, you don't need to do any of this content. It's all for fun and rewards like glamour, and you can go back and do them at any time.

Things this offers: aesthetic gear like mounts and glams, and a way to level crafting/gathering jobs.

This is just one of many ways to do crafting and gathering in the game. You can use it to level these jobs and you can also get some rewards for turning in specific goods.

Things this offers: a side story, aesthetic gear like mounts and glams, and Stormblood's relic weapons.

Each expansion has a set of super special relic weapons, and this is Stormblood's version. For ARR it was Zodiac Weapons, for HW it was Anima Weapons, and for Stormblood it's Eureka weapons. The Eureka weapon has nothing to do with your Stormblood weapon; they're distinct. And like all relic weapons, once a new expansion rolls out they are no longer strong because they are level 70 weapons, not level 80 weapons, etc. So at present time, Eureka weapons are just for glam.

The gameplay is kind of like old-school MMO's that were more about grinding levels by just fighting monsters, and you have a separate level in Eureka that starts at 1. Very different experience than the main game, including its finale being the game's only 64-person raid.

Things this offers: a side story, aesthetic gear like mounts and glams, and a way to level combat jobs.

The gameplay is kind of like a rogue-lite dungeon crawl, so it's a unique experience, and can be fun if that's what you're after.

This was released in Shadowbringers. It's useful for leveling crafters/gatherers. There are rewards for Skybuilders scrips, which you can get via crafting certain things or from the fête events. There is an achivement mount for a hardcore grind involving all the crafters and gatherers there too.

Eureka is where you grind your relic weapons for Stormblood. I disagree that it is too grindy and you don't seem the type that lacks time anyway. I and many others find it fun. There are many rewards, mounts, 4 areas to explore, TT cards and a giant large-scale raid involving potentially over 40 people.

The relic weapon for each expansion is separate, so it is unrelated to the anima one.

Deep dungeons have a solo achievement many like to get, mounts, TT cards and other rewards to get. Frequently used to level alt classes too.

I appreciate all the answers i got! So far it seems they are for mounts or glam orientated and not truely needed. And even so i can go back to them.
I will focus on leveling everyone and i jist purchased EW expansion so I will five into that soon! Thank you all so much for support

Unless you have a job and have a short playtime session like a lot of people. It definitely takes a while since its tied to Eureka prog as well. You have to bum rush the content which isnt fun at all since FATE farms are still boring as hell in this game.

If you have a good friend to help you do it, the better. Otherwise be prepared to slowly do it a bit at a time unless you really are that bored.
