NIN wishlist for 7.0
I think NIN is currently one of the jobs that are really fun to play. The Mudra system is awesome and keeps you quite busy.
So what would you like to see in 7.0 for NIN? What are your wishes? Who knows? Maybe a dev will read this!
Here are my wishes.
- A proper sneaking animation/stance for "Hide".
- Actual uses for "Hide" in the game.
- Make "Hide" usable in combat when behind the enemy.
- Add more weaponskills or abilities only usable while in "Hide".
- Rework "Mug" entirely, make it actually steal items or gil from enemies that die while under the effect of it.
- 1 additional Mudra charge.
- 1 additional shukuchi charge.
- Hellfrog Medium looks awful. Would like to have it redone or replaced with something more visually appealing.
- Ability to use the ROG running animation instead of the "Naruto run".
- Increased potency for Fuma Shuriken.
- Reduce Shade Shift cooldown to 60s.

I would focus on Rouge base class and give it more Rouge abilities, especially at the lower levels.

I'm all for improved animations/sound effects and Mug could use the rework or a replacement. The item bonus doesn't even work when it's relevant and it's attached to a 2min cd that isn't very powerful and just gives Kenki for some season. The split 5% damage buff could also be moved to Trick Attack.

I wanna apologize but these are the worst change suggestions for NIN I've seen and I played Endwalker Launch NIN xX
but let me join the fray:
- If they bring a change to Hide it just be an Movement Speed Boost for NIN only (kinda like Assassin from Ragnarok Online)
- Kassatsu should have Hyosho Ranryu and Goka Mekkyaku Ninjutsu at lvl50 and maybe a boost at lvl76, so your Muscle Memory doesn't play against you in sublvl76 content
- I prefer the Old Trick Attack/Mug over the New tbh though the new versions are not a deal breaker
- A somewhat Prediction: A Raiju Equivalent for Katon may come

Not a ninja main but I'll throw this out there:
Rework mug and trick attack to how they were before 6.1.
Duality returns as a low level bunshin. For ShB/EW babies, Duality caused your shadow to replicate your next action.
You learn armor crush in the 40's.
Katon changes forked/fleeting raiju into forked/fleeting kaju, a high potency melee aoe.
A CD that costs around 20 ninki that doubles the potency of your next fuma shuriken. Perhaps this can be an added effect on an existing ability.
A low level version of bhavacakra learned around 18.
I'd totally rework AoE. Death blossom is now on an 8 sec CD but sets down a doton. Using any attack while standing in doton damages all nearby enemies. Hollow nozuchi has a 50% chance of triggering after any weaponskill.
Hyoton has the added effect of halting the duration of huton for 20 seconds.
Raiju/Kaju can be used for 10 seconds after using the respective mudra.

Make hide remove stealth when recast, also remove its dam CD, its not like we can use it in combat, i'm sick of blowing my opener when randoms decide to wait 16.2491 seconds to pull..
also cant mug and trick attack be the same button? same can be said with a lot of buttons we have that are "the single target or aoe one" just make the function based on number hit, or first target revives x damage and x for remaining up to cap..
besides the 3rd button to our st 3 button rotation(s), nin's entire toolkit is basically a mirror of single target and aoe versions
also op not really a fan of hide, almost wish it were removed, its clunky and is such a worthless stealth that its entire mechanic could be solved by removing ninjutsu CD while not in combat.

what id like to see
Hide pauses Hutons timer just a prepull QoL
remove Mesui and Mudras just now give Ninki (fuma 5,raiton/katon 10 and Doton/suiton 25)
remove Forked Raiju
Follow up for katon and kassatsu jutsu's like fleeting raiju (but shares a button with Fleeting Raiju)
Baha/Frog merged or just new animations for both
Shade Shift 90s CD
revert Trick attack and Mug

My complaints are mostly to do with the 2m meta but id like for Raiju to not break from GCDs. I dont have the capacity to think what that would mean for the job but it is annoying as hell.
