Close range fighter that uses two one handed blades that can be combined to a single two-handed weapon to go with their attacks can call upon memories of ancient hunters to increase their power for a brief time (general summary)

Only thing I can say about it so far is that I am really not a fan of that Blue Aura

Two blades combining into one makes me think of Zidane. (Yes, I know, his daggers and glaives were separate weapons, not combining weapons. Still.)

The audience didn't seem super hyped about it. I think the general expectation was on Corsair and people were a wee bit disappointed with the reveal.

I'm... okay with it. I did want a dual sword job. Could have done without double saber mode but eh, I'll deal.

I was actually predicting almost this concept myself. I was thinking it would be similar to Zidane and Serge from Chrono Cross and was calling it "Swallowtail" in my head.

The thing is, they said before that new jobs probably would be largely original concepts moving forward, so I'm not really sure why there's so much prediction leaning on preexisting concepts.
