The one fixable issue with gamepad, where mouseover sadly is still superior
Gamepad has a shortcut for cycling through enemies. Which works pretty nice.

We see that 2 buttons LT and RT, are always used for the same outcome. It doesn't matter which I press. So it is redundant.
Gamepad users that need to teleport to a friendly player in the distance, give a support buff to a friendly player, or heal someone - do not have the option to quickly target or circle to that player. Which is quite easy with a mouse though.
Gamepad players have to rely on macros if it is predictable, or on their Dpad Up/Down quickness to target the player in the partylist. Or trying to softtarget the player quickly enough. It is unreliable and slow. Being able to cycle through friendlies, like we do for enemies, would be much faster.
LT +RB/LB could be just for cycling through friendly players/npc from far/near
while RT +RB/LB remains the cycling through enemies from far/near
Just give an option to enable this feature. It would make healing members in different groups in alliances and frontline pvp way easier as well.
