npc merchant

i am searching for a merchant for my next bow
I had heard there might be a merchant selling low lvl weapons any one know if this is true if so who is it and where thanks in advanced

After you outgrow the Weathered Shortbow, I suggest checking the the Market Wards in Ul'dah (map).

Rank 8 Maple Longbows are sold by NPC merchants in Gridania and Limsa Lominsa (Kerrich and Twyrmoht) for 29,120 gil

Rank 11 Elm Shortbows are sold by NPC merchants in all three major cities (Zagylswerd, Conayn, Reluctant Boar, and Iron Thunder) for 47,872.

NPC prices are pretty darn high, so you have more success searching in the market areas, are find a friendly crafter to help you get started... and, yes, we do exist :D

The NPC in market wards also sell equipments up to r20ish, all types. But most of their prices are higher than stuff you can find right in the market wards from other players' retainers.

If you're looking for the NPC who sells weapons below rank 20, go to the Market Wards, enter the Battlecraft Ward, and go to the middle. There should be an NPC there (name in green) selling lower level weapons. They're expensive, but it's pretty convenient.
