Steps:
1. complete current Unreal
2. speak to Faux Commander and start the Faux Hollows Game
3. be disconnected from the award winning Final Fantasy game:
- this can be a power issue like mine
- a network issue, LAN or WAN would cause this
- the wife pushing the power button will do this
What happens at this point is that you log back in, and you cannot finish the Game. If this happens after the first Unreal clear for the week, you are unable to complete a 2nd Unreal clear for the week.
What should happen is that this Game should be like Zhloe's book, where if you get disconnected *for any reason*, you can pick up from where the Server believes you are up to.

- This will occur on any device, as once the Faux Hollows Game starts, *if* you are disconnected, then you are prohibited from Unreal for the week. This appears to be different behaviour compared to any other part of the Final Fantasy experience.

The game warns you about this. This also happens when you're attempting to solo a Deep Dungeon.
Deep Dungeons are because SE hates you, but this is because the game rerolls the board it uses each attempt and doesn't want people attempting to crash the game to get a better board.

Yes the issue is, is that if they just gave you a game to play, like the Wondros Tales book, then it just wouldn't matter if you disconnected.
If you disconnect in a Deep Dungeon, I can understand that they don't want players to have an ability to cheat.
It just feels so archaic that the 2nd attempt on Unreal is subject to a player not disconnecting during the Faux Hollows Game. If it were the Unreal itself, I would still get another attempt to clear! Surely this is something that can be addressed, as I cannot be the only person to have been impacted by this!

I don't know if it's true, but I've always observed other people having the same duties for Wondrous Tails for a given week in all the conversations and parties I've joined related to it. So it most likely works that way because it doesn't have to re-roll each time.
Although the new patch changed it so that Wondrous Tails doesn't display duties you don't have unlocked, it doesn't mean that it's not fixed still, the dice roll they use for the week probably just behaves differently now when you don't have duties unlocked.
It is always a risk, but it just means an extra week of doing unreal for whatever you're farming for. It would be good if it wasn't something that could happen, but it is unlikely to happen frequently as well.
