Posting on behalf of my friend:
He had to reinstall the game and now the FFXIV updater won't connect for him. Any one else have this problem or know of a work around? I know its possible to just copy and paste a new patch into the game folder but not sure if he only needs the latest patch applied or will he need several patches.
