Buffs and debuffs disappearing, presumed for all members in party
I queued for the Normal Raid roulette through the Duty Finder and matched with other players into Anabaseios: The Ninth Circle. From the beginning of the battle to the end, I observed that my buffs would disappear either instantly or their counters would drop down in great amounts with split seconds in between each drop. The amount of time the buffs would lose would vary, I think; they dropped too quickly for me to notice a pattern. My Surging Tempest buff from the Storm's Eye weaponskill was the most obviously noticeable in this issue, but other players would report similar issues with their buffs. One player said they had the "Thundercloud" buff as a SAM; they claimed to be getting random buffs and was unable to leave the area. Another player, a NIN, said their "Ten Shi Jin" and "Phantom Kamaitachi" bugged as well. Another player reported being unable to accept a Raise from one of the healers.
The fight took us approximately 10 minutes. While this is a high time for many players with access to this content now, it is not too far off the mark for the average duty-finder-assembled run. While my Surging Tempest buff disappeared, my attacks seemed to have been doing their usual damage. Thus do I believe this may have been a visual bug with no tangible effect on gameplay aside from player perception. The other players and I were bewildered by the bug, throwing us off from playing our best due to the surprise and inaccurate information.
