Once Again No Crafted Weapons For New Jobs

This is getting so old. Especially for jobs that literally starts at level 70..

It should have the Ruby Weapon, the Hades Weapon, and the Emerald Weapon at the very least, but Square Enix is committed to being lazy. :(

I don't disagree. However, anyone who mains RPR or SGE should have expected this. That doesn't make it okay though, in my opinion. This is how it felt to main GNB and DNC all through Shadowbringers. It's...not a good feeling.

But gnb and dnc have this too with crafted weps. It's a lot of work to backs implement glam into this game that Fits with the same asthetic... they might need to hunt down the original concept artist and make them draw it. I was already impressed they added omega reaper scythe

I am use to it at this point. I know it won't be until somewhere in 7. stuff that we start getting crafted weapons. Though I would have liked a hades scythe.

Oh, I expected it, but I will continue to complain every time they do this. It's extremely dissatisfying.

I'm not excusing this. In the old days new jobs got old crafted weapons. Why should later new jobs be excluded from this?

Once again why do folks expect anything to change?

While it would be nice for them to go back and make the primal weapons for newer jobs, those are resources that would have to come from somewhere. Each new expansion adds two jobs. That's two new jobs on top of the plethora of jobs that they need to design new gear and new weapons for. Even more so if they have added a new race, such as the potential female hrothgar as they have to make sure all the gear fits that. That is development time. The HW and the StB jobs were done not only when there were less jobs but two less races too. The number of people working on gear design is finite, and their time is put elsewhere and can no longer be put to going back and doing old weapon designs for new classes.

So as much as I would love a Hades Scythe, Nidhogg Gunblade, or Ravana Chakrams I also understand why it isn't happening.

SE just doesn't care about it, they're just okay with jobs getting screwed over for ultimate rewards even though they plan and make things so far ahead in the future that it's impossible to change anything in response to feedback in any meaningful way. But hey at least we're getting more 'lifestyle' content in 7.0! That's obviously a much better resource sink than designing and modeling weapons that people have been asking about for ages.
