Ultimates not included in the free trial. Bravo.

Make the only challenging content at Lv70 be locked behind a paid subscription. Surely that will convince new players that the game isn't simply a snoozefest through and through.

Well the only challenging content for you seems to be restraining yourself from making drama bait threads...just stop at this point. To even bite on this...who cares they are free trial players they get access to plenty of content including Eureka...Ultimates is no big loss, you can still do extremes and savage as well...move on next topic.

Maybe it's to prevent RMT sellers being able to sell it at no cost to themselves.

It doesn't matter with savage because you can unsync that with a level 90 player, but obviously ultimates don't let you do that so they are a bit different.

Wouldn't that actually be a lot of work though? Cause it wouldn't just be as simple as gearing up, you'd also need materia melds and food buffs on the FT characters, meaning they'd have to do all of that themselves. Or maybe sellers are just that good and they don't need all of that.

Most of them have a gigantic surplus already. They just move materia and whatnot between characters/accounts as needed to expedite the entire process.

Yes, but free trial players can't trade. You'd have to do everything from scratch.

Yes, they would have to get it themselves and up until now, they haven't need it to be on the FT, but that doesn't mean SE wants to make it free for them to do it suddenly.

Apparently there are ways around some those limitations if you're willing to do some incredibly shady crap. Which, if someone is already practicing RMT, odds are they're just fine doing that too.

That aside, botting is a very strong way to get what you need fast. It wouldn't take them long to amass all the materials they need, with or without somehow bypassing part of the free trial's limitations.

I guess better safe than sorry. I was more worried about Eureka than the ultis. Hopefully that's restricted too.
