Things you wish Island Sanctuary to have before 7.1

I read that Island Sanctuary will receive a final update in 7.0, and 7.1 onward will focus on another life-style content.


Before the plug is pulled, here are the dearest things that I wish to see:


1) The ability to put mount free-roaming on the island. Like, many players have their collections of ponies/doggies/birdies..., which would be cool to see them roaming around. Or at least I can have several Magitek Reapers of different colors blazing, i mean, grazing the grass.


2) The ability to put duplicate the same minions. I want an island filled with foxes and tanuki only. Or perhaps a football team of red vs blue Alphinaud.


3) The ability to duplicate free-roaming mount too, if the 1) is added.

Factory and granary "buildings" that look like wild vegetation, returning the island to a natural-looking state.

A ground type that returns to "grassy ground" but with paths built into it connecting the buildings.

The option to send all the mammets away elsewhere and have the island to yourself.

Also, not directly related to the island, but more large outdoor furniture pieces that fill a large piece of space on the island, especially some large garden plots. They're not designed to fill the amount of space we have.

I'll settle for an underground factory design where we can shut them all in and lock them there, then never have to deal with them again. Especially the furball. After we've stolen its outfit, of course.

(Someone on Reddit was asking who we were going to have to kill to get the cute cat outfit, and I can only wish.)

Instanced Housing.

The ability to remove all Mammets.

The ability to rotate structures, not just move them.
Some form of instanced housing. (This is probably the only thing that will keep this feature alive going forward. It's not really a request anymore, it's more of an expectation)
More interactions with the animals in your pasture.
The pasture allotment to have one of each animal. I wanna catch em all!
Make sprint last 1 minutes instead of 20 seconds.
Make the handrails not connected to the sidewalk/pathway glamour selection.
The ability to move mammets/reassign their standing positions.
Let me put stuff ON THE BEACH!!!
A summoning bell either on the Island or at Moraby Drydocks.

Give us a plot to build and customize a house at the final level. Go through some gathering and crafting to get some optional exterior designs just like we did with the other buildings, but the inside can be decorated like any other house in the game. That way people can have an outlet for their creativity, and a whole island/yard to look at. I think its worth regardless if the island looks the same (Housing wards look the same.) as everyone else, and its limited to visiting. It suits for a solo experience since Island Sanctuary is mainly a solo experience zone.

Another thing I want is a total redo of the farming system. Create separate pens and facilities that actually work for different types of creatures instead of dumping them all in an empty paddock.

Maybe even let us "tame" creatures and leave them in the wild, then revisit them to collect items later. Perhaps taming the rare creatures means you can find them any time instead of waiting for the specific weather.

Honestly yeah, the lack of instanced housing in EW wasn't totally unexpected but to learn that island sanctuary is basically done as a concept was a real pity. From the front yard stuff they did, it kind of looked like they were building up to an instanced housing idea. Guess not, though. Other things they could've added would've included:
- more customizable individual islands, i.e. everyone having the exact same layout is really bland
- ability to gather on your friends' islands and maybe even help them progress or something, idk

honestly that's all i can think of, this content felt like the devs were just trying to copy animal crossing and then failed to realize why animal crossing was actually good. the best thing to come out of it was proof of concept that we can have instanced furniture setups kinda work in this game.
